Can anyone access My Training Log?
No, only you can access your personal training log once you are logged into the website.
How do I add an activity?
Login and click on the add activity link that can be found at the top of the website or alternatively click on the My Training log link that can be found on your sites main navigation bar.
There are three ways that you can add an activity:
1. Firstly, you can manually add an activity; choose a sport and the resulting data fields change to be specific to that sport. If you are in a hurry, just add basic data such as time and distance and a description of the activity; you can also easily create or attach a route to your activity by clicking the route links. If you have entered your weight and height data into your profile settings (see general FAQ’s), the calories burnt field will be auto-calculated.
Tick the advanced fields box to reveal a range of additional data fields including heart rate, power, cadence, elevation, terrain, hilliness, temperature, weather, state of mind and perceived effort level.
2. Secondly, you can add an activity by directly importing Garmin TCX, FIT and Polar HRM file. Click on browse, find the file you wish to upload and then click the upload button. Please note, if you are directly importing external files that are of a large file size (the current file size limit is 8MB), this process can take a few minutes to complete – please be patient and wait for the file to fully load. Once a file has loaded, you will be able to edit the activity and add additional data.
3. Thirdly, and the easiest way to add an activity is by syncing your training log with either Strava or Garmin Connect. To do this, click on the add activity button at the top of the website and then click on either the Strava sync OR Garmin Connect sync buttons you will see to the right of your screen. DO NOT SYNC YOUR TRAINING LOG TO BOTH SYSTEMS AS THIS WILL LEAD TO YOU HAVING DUPLICCATE ACTIVITIES LISTED IN YOURTRAINING LOG.
Once you have clicked on either the Strava of Garmin Connect buttons, follow the simple on-screen instructions.
Why don’t I see the Strava and Garmin Connect Buttons?
If you don’t see links to sync your training log with Strava or Garmin Connect, please contact your website administrator and ask them to enable the syncs in their admin dashboard.
How does the Strava sync work?
Connecting your website profile will automatically sync your activities from Strava into your training diary, every time you login to the website. You only need to sync your account once and that the sync process can take up to thirty minutes. Connecting your account will automatically sync your past 30 days of activity from Strava into your training log. It is your responsibility to remove any duplicate activities that you have already been uploaded. After establishing the connection, synced activities may not show up immediately. It may take some time for historical workouts to appear even though your latest activity appears on your calendar.
How does the Garmin Connect sync work?
To automatically sync your Garmin Connect account with your training log, you will need to install Garmin Express for the sync to work. Install Garmin Express here.

Can I edit and add information to my activity once it’s been imported?
Yes, once you have added/imported an activity, view the activity page and click on the edit link you will find at the bottom of the page. You can now edit and add additional information.
How do I view, edit or delete the activity I’ve just uploaded?
Once you have completed adding an activity and clicked save, the page will refresh to display your training logs List View. From this page you can click on the date link to view an activity in detail or click on the edit or delete icons. Alternatively, if you switch to Diary View, you can click on the sport links displayed for each activity you have uploaded to view an activity in detail.
Can other users see my activities?
If you have chosen to be a Visible Member in your Profile settings (See My Profile FAQ under General) then your activities will be displayed on your profile page in a list view. They will also appear in the Livestream of activities displayed on your website. If you only want registered members to see your activities, select members only in your profile settings to hide your profile page from anonymous users (See My Profile FAQ under General).
How do I analyze my activities?
Click on the Training log link that can be found on your sites main navigation bar to access three options for looking at and evaluating your activities – training log/Diary View, List View, Graphs (which we also refer to as Performance Reports).
Diary View allows you to view your activities in an interactive calendar – by default it will display all activities from the last 4 weeks. You can change the date range and filter what is displayed enabling you to look at activities relating to specific sports (eg cycling), activity types (eg sportives) and even specific routes.
List View allows you to view your activities as a table list – by default it will display all activities from the last 4 weeks and you have the same display filters as Diary View. Additionally, you can you can switch between viewing activity data and body metric data (eg weight), and click on the Table header links (eg sport, Session type, session name, Distance, Time, Ave speed & pace) to re-sort how the data is displayed.
Graphs View (which we also refer to as Performance Reports) – by default will display all activities from the last 4 weeks and you have the same display filters as Diary/List View. Additionally, you can switch between viewing activity graphs and body metric graphs (eg weight), choose to look at just your data or an aggregate of data from all members*. You can also compare your data year-on-year, period-on-period and even versus another individual user*. Note: *only applies to members who have set their privacy settings to visible.
What Goals can I set and how?
Login, click on the My training log link that can be found on your sites main navigation bar and then click on the Goals tab/link. You can now view your goals or add new ones.
To add a new goal, click on the Add Goal link, enter a date range, choose a sport and define your target distance and time goals. This enables us to calculate the target pace for the goal you want to achieve.
The Goal Tracker is a graph that displays relevant data from activities that you have completed and uploaded into your Training Log (See Add Activity FAQ under Training Log). It enables you to compare and trend over time your “training pace” with your “goal pace”.
How do I add body metrics?
Login, click on the My Training log link that can be found on your sites main navigation bar and then click on the Add Body Metrics Tab/link. You can now add body metrics data including body weight, % body fat, resting pulse, sleep volume/quality and injury and fatigue characteristics.
